We arrived a couple days early to ZhengZhou. We met the couple just a little bit before their last ‘first dance practice.’ We followed them as they prepared some last moment details and gifts for their guests, and later we went with them as they fixed some of the last details with the wedding dress.
We really love it when clients allow us to capture a little bit of their lives outside the ‘wedding.’ To have moments where they are just who they are every other day, to be able to capture that in an honest and authentic way… I think that’s very special. Actually, that’s what we are looking on the wedding day: little glimpses that are revealing of who our clients are.
It’s early 2021 now and I look back at this photos with mixed feelings. On one side there’s nostalgia. Last year we were very active while in China, but it all came to a sudden stop as we traveled back home, Mexico. On the other hand we have to keep our hopes and positivity in check. We are trying to find our way in the Mexico wedding industry and it hasn’t been easy. We are learning to adapt, be patient, and continue to grow as professionals, as creatives, and as people.
