Bride Friends Walk With Veil On The Grass

Destination wedding in hangzhou, china

2020 started with a lot of surprising events. We had some bookings in China, as usual, and we had already gotten our tickets from Mexico. As the world-wide pandemic was worsening, and the scenario for Mexico wasn’t looking well, we made the difficult decision to get two more one-way tickets to travel a month ahead of our plan.

To make the story short (and believe me, it’s a huge story), we arrived to China and while we were put in quarantine, the country announced the closing of its borders. We entered just on time. In an incredibly difficult year, we were blessed to still be able to have work. Several of our bookings were moved to later dates, but we still had a couple of small, intimate weddings in the first half of the year. This being the first of them.

We are so happy to be able to bring our vision to wedding photography. It’s just so special to be able to shoot from our heart, capturing the moments that resonate with our worldview and what we believe of weddings themselves, making true portraits of our clients and their friends in such a special day. There’s nothing posed, nothing directed, we are just capturing life and situations as they come to us. To be honest, the size of the wedding does not really affect what we do. We actually do enjoy the intimacy that we have been able to witness in some of these smaller-sized events. It’s a good reminder to us that what truly matters is bigger and more meaningful than the event or celebration itself.
