A short film from this lovely wedding we shot last year in Penn Museum, Philadelphia. As I (R) looked through the footage I figured out a couple elements that stood out and had connections between them. I hope you can find them as well 🙂
I’ve come to realize that in cinema, documentary or not documentary makes not so much of a difference. Maybe what makes the difference is the acceptance of reality and the honesty with which it is portrayed.
I’d rather watch something where you can feel the reality of the moments, than something where you realize the artifice with which someone is trying to make you feel something. The connection. The emotion. The viewer completing the image as they relive their own experiences. You can’t to fake that.
