In our films, anyone and anything can become a character that serves as an important element in the structure of the story. We could say that the direction of the edit is set by us, but we are open to anything. Yes, we have rules. Yes, we have limits. But we try to push these as far as we can, and the form of our videos is free as long as they are faithful to what we believe of cinema and weddings.
Most of the time the wedding is done and I still have no idea of how the film will be, how will it look or what it will talk about. It is always a challenge. It is always an adventure. Both, shooting, and editing. Some friends have asked for our methods or formulas, but we don’t really have a specific one. We just listen. We observe. We comprehend. We empathize. Then, and only then, we can connect. We do have a vision, we know who we are, and we know what we want to achieve. That’s more important than a method.
Oh man, I loved Vietnam. Really. The people, the food, walking in the streets with Sunny. We can’t wait to go back.
